Terms & Conditions of Boarding Animals

This is a contract between Aussie Pet Resort and the pet owner/s or owner/s agent whose name and signature appears below (hereinafter called “Owner”) Pet/s are only accepted under these terms and conditions and leaving your pet/s here constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

All pets are to be fully vaccinated Dogs C5 vaccination and Cats F3 vaccination in the last 12 months. Animals are to be vaccinated 2 weeks before check in. Current vaccinations must be emailed before admission.

All cats are to be desexed.

The Operator reserves the right to refuse entry of any animal without being required to give explanation.

The full period booked will be charged, even if guests depart earlier than departure date.

Boarding rates are charged on a calendar day basis no matter what time the guests arrive or depart.

The owner agrees to pay the rate for boarding in effect on the date the animal is checked into the Operator’s premises (as advised in the rates list).

The owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviour of the animal while it is in the Operator’s care and hereby indemnifies the Operator and shall keep the Operator indemnified to the full extent permitted by law for any action of the animal which apart from this indemnity may have created any liability on the Operator.

The owner specifically represents that he or she is the sole owner of the animal, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances.

All charges incurred by the owner pursuant to this agreement must be paid before the animal leaves the Operator’s premises.

Owner/s give full authority to Aussie Pet Resort to call a Veterinary surgeon for any treatment, procedure or to gather or exchange information of the pets in the event of sickness, illness, accident, injury or any reason should the Aussie Pet Resort deem necessary at the owners expense and agree to pay all expenses prior to removal of the pet/s.

If at any time any payment is outstanding for seven (7) days or more I authorise the disposal or sale of the pets in a manner determined by Aussie Pet Resort and hold Aussie Pet Resort harmless therefore and agree to pay any additional costs incurred in recovering outstanding payments.

All reasonable care and attention is given and pets are accepted at the owners risk upon these terms and conditions. Aussie Pet Resort and its staff and/or agents do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any belongings including collars, tags, bedding etc. and do not accept responsibility for sickness, illness, accident, escape, injury or passing away of pets for any reason.

By signing these conditions the owner acknowledges their acceptance of the Conditions of Boarding Animal and certifies to the accuracy of all information given about the animal. The owner acknowledges that the signing of this contract shall create a lien over the animal in favour of the Operator which lien shall continue to exist whilst ever monies are owing to the Operator pursuant to this agreement.
Bookings Policy
All bookings are required to pay 30% of full fee within 24 hours of booking.
Bookings will be confirmed when payment has been received. If payment is not received your booking will be forfeit.
Payments can be made by credit card or direct debit.
Balance of fee to be paid on arrival of guest.
Rates are subject to change from the rate advertised without notice due to additional requirements, special requests and rising costs.
Cancellation Policy
Please be advised if eligible for a refund there are cancellation charges to be deducted. Cancellation charges are neither refundable nor transferable.
The cancellation charge directly corresponds with how much notice and whether the booking is during:

Non peak times Cancellation Administration Fee $55

Peak Times (school holidays) Cancellation Administration Fee per Guest $100.
Written notice of cancellation 21 days before check in date of guest’s arrival is eligible for a refund less the cancellation administration fees.
Less than 21 days notice before check in date of guest’s arrival comprises the entire booking fee and cancellation charges. This customer is not eligible for a refund.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of written cancellation.
Early Departures
If guests depart earlier than the booked departure date there is no credit, nonrefundable nor is it transferable.
Out of Hours
Unfortunately, we cannot offer this service as we are bound by council law which must be strictly adhered to.
